  • Agamemnon- Agamemnon was a very sellfish king, king Agamemnon refused to be humiliated by a retreat and sacraficed his daughter. He did not let anyone get in the way of his pride even his wife who threatned to kill him for the sacrafice he made "The kings nature could not bear the reproch of failure..."
  • Aphrodite - goddess of love""You shall have the fairest woman to wife"she said gently...her sea-blue eyes laughed [at him]"
  • Athene-goddess of wisdom""i will teach you all the wisdom that there is in the mind of a man"her calm eyes looked through him"
  • Calchas- Calchas was Agememnons soothsayer, he was againsed going to war ""we are indeed in the gods ill favor. I it is beter that we go home"

Agamemnon lued Iphagenia by saying she was going to be married to achillise,"Iphagenia was lead out to sacrafice. The knife of the slayer rose and fell"and Iphagenias life ended.
